SYNOPSIS

Crossing Jordan

  Whoever is interested in the crime or drama type of TV series must have watched Crossing Jordan with much interest. It is a popular American series which was aired on NBC for six years, from September 2001 to May 2007. The role of the crime-solving medical examiner Jordan Cavanaugh was played by Jill Hennessy. The series, created by Tim Kring, has its title inspired by the Biblical metaphor of the ancient Hebrews who crossed River Jordan.

  There is a very interesting character in the series – Mahesh Vijay – a shy yet brilliant forensic entomologist from Liverpool who finally vanishes into thin air and reappears deeply shaken by his experience. We must not forget about Lily Lebowski whom Garret used to be romantically involved with, a good-hearted but whimsical grief counsellor working in the medical examiner’s office.

  The type of the British criminologist is embodied in Nigel Townsend; he has a dry humour and knows everything but has a rather ambiguous life, being suspected of bisexuality, though he has a girlfriend. There are also a lot of recurrent characters who give colour to the series. You should get a Blu-Ray and enjoy the life of these interesting characters in your home.
