Everwood was a prime time television drama that aired in the United States on The WB. The series was set in the fictional small town of Everwood, Colorado. It was primarily a serious drama with some comedic moment.

Downtown Everwood was in reality filmed in Ogden and South Salt Lake, Utah, and the series pilot was filmed in Canmore, Alberta, Denver, Colorado and Calgary.

Everwood was not renewed for future production and did not return when the WB and UPN merged to form The CW Television Network.

On October 2, 2006, reruns of Everwood aired weeknights on ABC Family for the duration of the series. In Canada, reruns are shown Tuesday evenings at 7 EST on Vision TV.

Everwood tells the story of a widower, Dr Andy Brown, who leaves his successful job as a top Manhattan neurosurgeon to live in a small Colorado town, bringing his 9-year-old daughter Delia and 15-year-old son Ephram with him. He chooses the town of Everwood because his late wife had told him of her emotional attachment to it. Many of the story lines deal with the conflicts of adjusting to a new setting, as well as getting along with new people. Dr. Brown, simply called Andy most of the time, at first finds some animosity towards Dr. Harold Abbott, with whom his professional opinions differ. However, Dr. Abbott's cranky demeanor and Andy's passive, cheerful attitude prove to mesh well and the two begin a friendly rivalry. Ephram continually struggles with his emerging adolescence, his studies as a classical pianist, and his crush on Amy Abbott, Dr. Abbott's daughter.

As the series progresses, so do the love stories. Amy and Ephram become a couple in Season 3 but experience problems along the way. Meanwhile, sparks fly between Andy and his neighbour, Nina.

Everwood is an American television drama series created by Greg Berlanti. The series originally aired in the USA on The WB from 16 September, 2002 to 5 June, 2006. The series is set in the fictional small town of Everwood, Colorado, which tells the story of Dr. Andy Brown, a widower and was filmed in Ogden, South Salt Lake, and Draper, Utah, except the series pilot who was filmed in Canmore, Alberta, Denver, Colorado and Calgary.

Everwood originally aired in South Africa on M-Net from 10 March, 2003 to 26 August, 2007. It began airing on SABC3 on 9 January, 2007. See "Seasons" below for seasonal broadcast dates and times. There are 89 hour-long episodes in four seasons. On October 2, 2006, reruns of Everwood aired weeknights on ABC Family for the period of the series. Season 3 premiered on SABC3 on Sunday 23 August 2009, at 17h00. New episodes air weekly. There are 22 episodes in the third season.

As the series progresses, so do the love stories. Amy and Ephram become couple but experience problems along the way. Amy's boyfriend and older brother Bright Abbott’s was best friend. Amy sees the advent of Andrew as an opportunity that Colin has been in a coma since Independence Day the previous summer, after he and Bright were in a car accident. Amy befriends Ephram in an effort to encourage Andrew to revive his brain surgery skills to save Colin. Andrew unwillingly agrees. Amy is elated, but Bright is sullen and distant about the situation. Later, he tearfully confesses to his father that, contrary to what he had claimed all summer. Bright does remember the accident. He was the one driving Colin's father's truck and the two boys were a little drunk at the time. However, his anguish is relieved when Andrew is successful. Colin is awake.

However, despite the picturesque appearance of Everwood, the residents are faced with hardships and drama, including cancer, drug addiction, secret affairs, and tragic deaths all while trying to live a quiet life in a small town. It’s made it popular serious in the world.
